RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Thank you for being part of our journey at Sunlit Surf Co. We want you to love your purchase but if you are not satisfied with your products, we offer easy returns or exchanges

How do I return my order?

Simply ensure items are in like-new condition, unwashed, unaltered, and in the same condition you received them. Requests for returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your order. We'll happily refund the full price paid for items, minus shipping. 

Please note that each item is specially made just for you. If you can, please try to help us be sustainable and only order what you think you'll keep. We'd be so happy if you would consider sharing the love and gifting your item to a loved one who might enjoy it. 

How do I exchange for a different size?

We'll provide you with a return shipping label. Your items must be in like new condition, unwashed, unaltered in the same condition in which you received. Once we receive your returned item, and if we have your preferred size in stock, we will send it out to you - usually within 7 business days!

If you prefer a store credit, just let us know, and we'll gladly issue you a Sunlit Surf Co. digital gift card.

How do I initiate a return?

To get your return or exchange started email sunlitsurfco@gmail.com with the following:

  • Name and email address it was ordered under

  • Your order number (in your order confirmation email)

  • Reason for the return/exchange

  • The size you want to exchange for (if you are looking for an exchange)

We will then email you a return shipping label that you can tape on the package to mail back to us. 

Refund timing: Upon receiving your package, we'll process your refund for the returned item(s) (minus shipping) within 7 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's processed (allow up to 48 hours for the refund to appear in your account).

Lost or damaged item:

If your product is damaged or lost in transit (never shows as delivered through tracking) we will happily replace it or refund your money if you contact us within three weeks of a product being received or from the estimated delivery date. Email sunlitsurfco@gmail.com to request a refund and please provide your order number (it is in your order confirmation email). 

However, we are not responsible for locating lost or stolen packages once they have been delivered (shown as delivered on tracking). This applies to both domestic and international orders. If you suspect your package was stolen please contact the shipping service used (USPS or UPS) and your local police department.
